There Is No Schedule for Finding Your Footing

People sometimes expect grief to follow a timetable. Real life is more personal than that.

There may be days when ordinary routines feel possible, followed by days when a small reminder feels enormous. Anniversaries, changes, and unexpected moments can bring feelings back to the surface. This does not mean you are failing or going backward.

You can take the next step that fits today. That might mean speaking with someone you trust, resting, taking a walk, returning to a familiar activity, or giving yourself permission not to decide anything yet.

Your pace does not need to match anyone else’s. You deserve patience, including from yourself.

Take what is useful to you and leave what is not. There is no single belief or response required here.
